- Your Obligations: We want a fun, competitive environment. This means no cheating on the daily leaderboards and no offensive display names.
- Payments & Refunds: All subscriptions and purchases are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. If you need to cancel a subscription or request a refund, you must do so directly through your Apple App Store settings. We do not have access to your credit card information and cannot process refunds ourselves.
- Limitations: We provide the app "as is." While we give you the tools to practice, we cannot guarantee specific improvements to your reading speed or comprehension.
- Disputes: If something goes wrong, we ask that you reach out to us first so we can try to fix it informally.
- Termination: You can delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our rules.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding contract between you and ReadFlow. By downloading, accessing, or using the ReadFlow iOS app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our app.
We write these terms to be as clear and straightforward as possible because we want you to understand your rights and responsibilities. If you have any questions after reading through this document, please reach out to us.
2. About Our Service
ReadFlow is a technology platform built to help you read faster and comprehend more.
What We Provide
Our iOS app offers a variety of features to test and improve your cognitive skills. Users can practice Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) speed reading at customizable speeds ranging from 300 to 900 words per minute (WPM). We also offer a shared Daily Brain Teaser accompanied by a comprehension quiz, a daily leaderboard to see how you stack up against other readers, and detailed tracking for your reading speed, comprehension scores, streaks, and points.Who Can Use ReadFlow
ReadFlow is designed for a general adult audience. Our service is not directed at children. By creating an account, you confirm that you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.Service Availability
We work hard to keep ReadFlow running smoothly so you never miss a daily streak. However, software can be unpredictable. We do not guarantee that the app will be available 100% of the time, and we may occasionally need to take the service offline for maintenance or updates.3. Your Account
To save your progress and compete on the leaderboard, you need to create an account.
Registration and Security
You can register using an email address and password, or through third-party services like Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect someone else has gained access to your account, please notify us immediately.Display Names and Leaderboards
When you create an account, you will choose a display name. Because ReadFlow features a shared daily leaderboard, your display name and your daily scores will be visible to other players. Please choose a name you are comfortable sharing publicly.Account Deletion
You have complete control over your account. If you decide ReadFlow is no longer for you, you can request account deletion directly within the app settings. Deleting your account will permanently remove your reading statistics and account data from our active systems.4. Acceptable Use
To keep ReadFlow enjoyable and fair for everyone, we have established a few ground rules.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for cheating and abusive display names. If we determine that you have violated these rules, we reserve the right to reset your scores, remove you from the leaderboard, or permanently suspend your account without notice or refund.5. Content & Intellectual Property
We respect intellectual property rights and expect you to do the same.
Our Ownership
ReadFlow owns all rights, title, and interest in the app. This includes our logos, trademarks, design elements, the Daily Brain Teaser content, our comprehension quizzes, and the underlying software code. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use.Your Content
The only content you provide to us is your display name and your performance data (scores, WPM, streaks). By using the app, you grant us permission to display your chosen name and scores on our public leaderboards.6. Payments & Billing
ReadFlow offers premium features to help you get the most out of your reading practice. Because we are an iOS app, all financial transactions are handled securely by Apple.
Pricing and Trials
We offer premium access through auto-renewing subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. Our current pricing is:Both the monthly and annual subscriptions come with a 7-day free trial so you can test the premium features before committing.
Billing Through Apple
When you make a purchase, you are buying it through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). Your payment is processed entirely by Apple, billed to your Apple ID, and governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. ReadFlow never receives, processes, or stores your credit card details.Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an auto-renewing subscription, you must do so through your Apple App Store account settings. Deleting the ReadFlow app from your device or deleting your ReadFlow account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your current subscription period or free trial ends.Refunds
Because Apple processes all transactions, Apple handles all refund requests. ReadFlow cannot issue refunds directly. If you are unhappy with your purchase or made a mistake, you must request a refund through Apple's customer support channels (reportaproblem.apple.com). Refunds are granted at Apple's sole discretion.7. Privacy
Your privacy is incredibly important to us. We only collect the data we need to make the app work and track your progress.
We collect your email address, display name, reading performance data, and basic product interaction analytics. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. All data processing complies with applicable privacy frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

8. Disclaimers & Limitations
We want to be completely honest about what ReadFlow can and cannot do.
"As Is" Service
ReadFlow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to provide a bug-free experience, we do not warrant that the app will be entirely free of errors or interruptions.No Guaranteed Results
ReadFlow is a tool for practice and brain training. However, human cognition varies wildly. We do not guarantee that using our app will result in specific reading-speed improvements, higher comprehension rates, or any specific cognitive benefits. Your results will depend entirely on your own effort and natural abilities.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us (via Apple) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so these limitations may not fully apply to you.9. Dispute Resolution
If you have an issue with ReadFlow, we want to fix it.
Informal Resolution First
Before filing any formal legal claim, we ask that you contact us at support@readflow.app. We will do our best to resolve the issue informally and fairly within 30 days.Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, specifically incorporating your consumer protection rights under frameworks like the GDPR for European users and the CCPA/CPRA for California residents. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the competent courts of your primary residence, ensuring you retain all local consumer protection rights.10. Changes & Termination

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and, where appropriate, providing a notice within the app. Your continued use of ReadFlow after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.Termination
You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account and removing the app from your device (remember to cancel any active subscriptions through Apple). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ReadFlow at our discretion, particularly if you violate our Acceptable Use policies regarding cheating or abusive behavior.11. General Legal
- Here are a few final legal formalities required to make this agreement complete:
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that specific provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReadFlow regarding your use of the app.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to a future parent company, subsidiary, or successor in interest.
